In 2000 after graduating from High School, I started working for a flag company here in Omaha. I worked there for over 11 years, learning almost all there is to know about flags and flagpoles. It was here where I met my future wife, Kati, who started working for the same company doing office work around the year 2007.
In 2012 we decided to take a break from the flag industry and try out a new profession. This only lasted a short while before Kati and I decided to follow our true passion, which is in the flag industry. There is no feeling like the satisfaction I get from installing a flagpole and raising Old Glory to fly proudly at the top.
My wife and I (and our 2 year old son at the time) started A-1 Flags in 2016. Fast forward to now and we have added a daughter and a lot more flag and flagpole experience. We pledge to offer you high quality products at competitive prices, in a timely manner.
